"Real" Friends
Some people say that "online friends aren't real friends."What makes someone a real friend?
Is a real friend someone who's there for you when you need them? If so, then online friends ARE real friends.
Is a real friend someone who laughs at your jokes? If so, then online friends ARE real friends.
Is a real friend someone who comforts you when you're upset? If so, then online friends ARE real friends.
Is a real friend someone you can trust? Well, you can't really trust ANYONE, come to think about it (even your best friend IRL could be the cousin of a serial killer).
Is a real friend someone who knows what to say to cheer you up? If so, then online friends ARE real friends.
The only two ways online friends are different than IRL friends:
1. You can make physical contact with IRL friends (that just sounds gross, though)
2. You can be 100% sure what an IRL friend looks like (but looks don't matter; only inner beauty does)
So I say that online friends ARE real friends.
(But still, no one should go around telling people personal information.)
