The Rejection and The Surprise
Masky came in. "I knew it. She rejected it. Rose, calm down. I won't let him hurt you." He looked at her arm, and gasped. "Oh my god. You rejected the venom." She looked at the symbol. It had a fire Mark. The symbol of Rejection. She smiled. "Yeah, I did." She grasped her head. She was losing it. She cried. "Masky! Help!" Masky ran over. She tried to reject the venom. She was going insane. She gasped. Someone touched her back. The world went silent. "I know it hurts. But trust me. You won't hurt me." She turned. Splendy was there, and he was burning in white fire. Rose dropped the knives and backed up. "It hurts! He cursed me!" He nodded. "I know."He put his hand out. She hesitated, and grabbed it. She gasped, and screamed. Her head pounded, and her heart stopped. She saw everything. She released her hand, and she gasped. "I reject the venom. But I can't reject my past. Though, I reject this." She grabbed her knives and ran out. EJ grabbed her wrist. They locked eyes. She screamed. "Agh!" She looked up. Offendy was controlling her. She let go of his hand, and stood up. She looked at him. "You're getting defensive. You don't like me doing this. Pain? Doesn't hurt me. And neither do you. The pain I'm in now doesn't trump anything you can give to me."
Offendy smiled, and her head pounded. She fell to the ground. She got up. EJ backed up. "Rose...?" He didn't see her. "I'm fine. He's invisible." EJ nodded, and stood straight. Rose turned to him. "No. I reject the venom." He got closer. "Accept it." She threw her knives at the wall. Her heart was pounding. Offendy had black flames on him. She looked down, and saw she was in white flames. "I won't let you hurt me. Not ever. And Jane can reject the pain. So can everyone else." Jane fell to the ground, but writhed in pain as she stood up. EJ growled. No one moved. Jane and EJ came toward her. She stopped them. "Stay." She didn't look away from Offendy.
"EJ, get everyone into the basement. If you don't, I don't know what will happen." No one moved. Sally only said. "No. We all stay." Rose looked at her, and back at Offendy. "Good girl. You Offenderman, stay away from my friends. Don't ever hurt me or anyone else in this family ever again." She felt the ground lift beneath her. She smiled. Offnedy smiled. "Leave us alone!" She punched him.
