In the forest
I wake up and see Chris walking out. I run to the clearing, tripping through the woods in my human form. I love the feel of the wind in my hair as much as I like it through my fur. The sky is a crisp blue without a cloud in sight. The leaves dangle the jewels – tiny droplets of ruby, pearl, topaz, amethyst, emerald and garnet; and a carpet of such riches coated the forest floor around them. The beauty feels almost as if it is its power and source of light. Here there is no one to lead us or tell us what to do - well maybe except the king of the rogues. I get to the clearing. He is there waiting for me, with a picnic basket. He hands it to me."Got a good supply of food in there." He says
"Thank you, where do you get your food from?" I ask
"Friends,"He says.
"Thanks again. Where you heading?" I ask
"Around, going for a run." He says
"Well see you later." and I sprint off with the food. I find a perfect spot. I hide the basket and take of my clothes, shifting into my wolf form. I lap at the clear blue cooling water, which quenches my thirst. I lie down dozing peacefully by the beautiful river. Then I see a great brown wolf ahead of me and I shift into some clothes. He shifts too into some drop dead gorgeous hugging trousers and no shirt.
"Nice place, huh?" He says
"You forgot your shirt,"I say, not answering his question.
"I didn't forget it, its too hot," He replies
"Good for you."I say. I sit down and open the hamper. I smell chicken so get one out and offer one to him. He takes it pleased that I have shared. I look at him, taking in his hot face and his eyes. His eyes at a first glance could be counted as blue, or green maybe, but if you look closer you can see rings of colours which change according to the light. I look at him then see he is looking straight back at me, taking me in. His mouth is turned up at the corners with a gentle smile. Someone with such a dangerous reputation isn't too bad. I blush and look away. He holds my chin gently
"Don't look away, I love your eyes," He says and I blush deeper. I look back at him.
"I love yours too,"I say blushing since I actually said it. His smile widens even further and his head (which is considerably higher up than mine) lowers and I think he is going to kiss me but he actually nuzzles my neck. An affectionate show for werewolves. I give him more neck which is almost a show of submission. I lips gently brush my neck and then breaks contact, I moan then stifle it. He notices.
"Goodbye, I will see you tomorrow" And with that he is gone. I follow my way back to near his house and see lights are on. I decide to go to the border so I shift again. I run through the forest, quickly and quietly following the path to the edge. I sit on one of the trees taking in the sight, the road which leads to home. My old home, not my home. The forest is my home and my friends are Chris. Then I see a girl walking by the border and I return to my human form in clothes. (Dreaming makeup is harder but not impossible)
"Helga, what are you doing here?" I shout to my little sister. She runs towards me.
"I came to find you," She says.
"Go away, you will only get hurt."I take a step back unsure whether to run. Then my father runs towards us and makes sure I and her havn't stepped over our border.
"Come on Helga, she is not with us any more," He says and she looks heartstruck and leaves immediatly.
"Sorry, she arrived and was just making sure she didn't step over the border. As much as I love here. It would be a pain,"
"Goodbye,"
"See you," I say and he leaves and so do I. Its mid afternoon so I spend the rest of the time doing not much. Then the moon is in the sky, the forest is breathtaking. I go back to the house and find another tree to rest in.
