Jasmine's Guide to Writer's Block

Jasmine's Guide to Writer's Block

An informational book that covers the many types of WB and the cures. If you are struggling with WB, then I am really, really sorry. Maybe this book will help you.

Type 6

This type is pretty exclusive to those authors that have serious commitment issues and can never stick to a story (aka me). It doesn't need much explaining, and I'm getting bored of this guide anyways, but I guess that I can really quickly write down a few of the symptoms and stuff.
-getting distracted by what you think are better ideas (like writing a story about Cleopatra's mummy teleporting to the 21st century, saving the world, and falling in love!)
-getting bored with your story (like how flipping bored I am with THIS boring compilation of the most boring things on earth)
-getting bored with your characters
-getting bored with your story and stuff basically and etc.

Cures:
-hot chocolate
-music
-time
-oh, who am I kidding? I'm just going to go write that story about Cleopatra's mummy now.

I often experience WB. It's extremely irritating. I believe type six would be the one I get the most often. I have commitment issues >.< I don't really compare myself to other writers (although I often feel like rewriting some of my stories, even if they're not finished yet.) Sometimes lacking ideas is one influence. Most of the time, I know what I want to happen See More
