Type 1

The most basic and commonly diagnosed form of Writer's Block (hereafter referred to as WB). Common symptoms:
-blankly staring at an empty page
-wishing that you knew how to write
-wondering what the Helheim to type
-getting distracted super easily

....
Whelp. Looks like I literally just now got WB Type 1.

Gimme a minute...
I was going to say something about, like.... IDK. Oh! I was going to list the cures! I think...

-hot chocolate
-music
-no human interaction; through online or real life
-reading of other, better books
-lots of thinking
-possibly some help from another writer
-time

And that's all that I can think of right now. Excuse me while I make some hot chocolate and thank the gods that I was actually able to finish this chapter. Take that, WB!!

I often experience WB. It's extremely irritating. I believe type six would be the one I get the most often. I have commitment issues >.< I don't really compare myself to other writers (although I often feel like rewriting some of my stories, even if they're not finished yet.) Sometimes lacking ideas is one influence. Most of the time, I know what I want to happen See More
