Attack of the King of Leaves

"HUH?" I gasp, shocked. "But that Ultra Ball is Sergeant Parkers!"

Sahara shrugs. "Well, if he thinks we can get along with eachother, for he has abandoned us, I might as well treat it like the shit it is." She kicks the ultra ball in the air, only to end up landing on her head. She screeched and throws it at me. I catch it.

I snarl in deep rage. "If you wish to throw your precious Ultra Ball, go right ahead. I'm keeping it and mine, for I am honorable and respectful."

Sahara stands up on two legs and hisses back, "I'm more honorable than you'll ever be! I've fought more battles, I've killed more enemy soldiers than you ever could. I even invented the A-2 40's (A Two Forty's) for the Battle Commisionary. You've done nothing great, nothing to change history!"

I just stare at her in anger and shock, too astonish to do anything. Then she says the one thing that breaks my heart.

     "You're just a Lucario."

"You're not special. You just served Sergeant Parker because you guys are friends, nothing more. But I've been there by his side ever since the Battle of the Champions. I saved him from Giratina. You didn't. Your USELESS!"

She spat the last word so harshly I think I lowered my ears and whimpered.

I rear up, tears streaming down my face. I drop the last of the Oran berries and crush them. She gasps softly, for she hasn't healed all the way yet. I throw a Power-Up Punch at her face, and she stumbles to the ground. Having no time for a Power Gem, she lays still.

I scream as a feathery hand grabs my shoulder. I spin around to see a Pokemon-a tan and brown one- blink kindly before grabbing my head and smashing it against a tree. I remember grabbing my head and moaning before falling to my knees.

I wake up in a bed made of leaves in a tree. It's warm and comfy, and I hear voices below. I peer down to see Sahara and the creature...talking? NICELY?

I perk my ears forward to eavesdrop on their conversation. My attacker, a Pidgeot, I think, is perched on a log with some Oran berries at its talons. Sahara is nowhere to be seen, until I see her appear with a light blue scarf around her neck with white stripes. I honestly think she looks great with it on.

"So your back so early?" The Pidgeot calls with a young male British accent. Sergeant Parker has taught me different accents and languages. He said they were important when we went into war.

Sahara nodded, unraveling the scarf to reveal some Tamato berries. She blushes. "I know you like spicy things, so I found these in his garden." Found these? In HIS garden? That only means one thing. They've been stealing from someone!

I have the urge to jump down and rip off both their faces, but I stay still and quiet.

The Pidgeot smiles and takes one of the bright, bumpy red berries and stuffs it in his mouth. He chews slowly and thoughtfully, before swallowing and saying, "That was a great Tamato berry! Where did ya get it?"

Sahara blinks. "I think it was by the Razz berry patch. They're hidden in that area. It's the last section on the right." The Pidgeot leans forward and grabs another berry. "Thanks. Hey, you've never told me your name," he says softy, "What is it?"

     That pulls the last straw.

I leap down from the tree and take out a glowing bone from the air and point it right below the Pidgeots chin. I growl, showing my white fangs. Sahara blinks and let's out a squeak of surprise. The Pidgeot even looks shocked!

"Don't tell him anything." I whisper behind me, not removing my gaze from the Pidgeot. "First," I spat, "What is your name, and what do you want?"

The Pidgeot smiles. "My name is Aether, named after the God of air." Aether puffs out his feathery chest. "I'm named after a GOD."

I roll my eyes, my aura sensing pride in the air around Aether.

"All I want is my family to be fed." Aether mutters, his gaze suddenly very serious. "Do you have a problem with that?"

Sahara steps beside me. "No, we don't have a problem," She says softly, flexing her muscles, "But why do you ask us?" Aether's eyes widen and he turns pale, as if a Chandelure took his life force. He starts to tremble, and he says...

"It's the King of the Leaves. He takes our food, our families, everything." Aether starts to sob. "He took my little sister, Malay. It's air in Inuktitut."

Sahara and I nod our heads. "Okay," Sahara mews, "So your asking for our help?" Aether nods his head, eyes distant. "Yes. I heard you two were Pokemon from Sergeant Parker. He-" Aether pauses, "Was my fathers military master. My fathers name is Alasie, meaning "the strong one" in Inuktitut." Sahara tilts her head to the left, gaze troubled. "Why does everyone here have Alaskan names?" She asks.

     Aether shrugs. "Dunno.

I clench my fists. "Well, we have a food and family snatcher to catch! Let's give it our all!

Aether smiles gratefully and Sahara punches him in the shoulder, a smirk on her face. "Let's go!"

Ah it was a nice story, I only got confused with the names so I couldn't follow it as good, but it's a nice beginning to the story.

And has for part 2, I have a question which may help you continue on; where, how or when does the uncosious one wake up?

I hope you continue it :3
