Chapter Two
"What about where I want to go," Mathilda whines. "I wanna go to Hawaii!""I don't realy mind where we go as long as we hit ground soon," Meko confesses as Hikaru and Karou walk behind her. They each poke her on the shoulders. "Why? You afraid?"
"N-no, I am not!" Meko says still staring at the waves of clouds. "I just perfer to be down to earth."
Tamaki pulled the twins away from her and stroked her hair, trying to comfort her. "It's okay m'lady. We have been airbound for quite some time now and we'll be landing soon."
"R-really? How long!?"
"Ever scince Ryni left," Tamaki answers.
"That lo..." Meko cannot finnish her question due to the altitude making her faint. Everyone else lurches as she falls. Tamaki's grip had been lose and at an angle at the time so he was only able to soften the impact by a smidge.
/// Eight minutes later///
Opening her eyes, Meko groans is pain and tiredness. Everyone was leaning over her, each with a conserned look on their face.
"What happened," Meko asked.
Dropping to her knees Mathilda hugged her cousin; her eyes filled with tears. "Your fear of heights made you faint and hit your head!" she sobbed. "When you didn't get up right away, we came and found that you were unconsious! Just look at poor Tamaki!"
After the blur of tears was blinked away, Meko was able to see Tamaki in the corner, his face covered in tears. He had obviously overreacted. She crawls over to him and pat his back. "You okay Tama-senpai?"
"M-Meko," Tamaki snibbles throwing his arms around her. "Thank goodness!"
"It's okay." Meko tells Tamaki stroking his hair. "I'm fine, I'm fine..." She jumps up the seat, climbs the back, and looks out the window expecting to see clouds or the open skies. To her surprise, all she saw was water and sand. The beach.
"The beach?"
"Where else has pretty waves and lots of sand?" Mitsukuni asks in his bathing suit. Even Usa-chan had his own swimsuit.
"Come on!" Mathilda hollered, running out the door with a midnight colored bikini on.
"Where'd you get your swimsuit," she asks with true curiosity. "You didn't bring one." By the time Meko asked, Mathilda was almost to the water.
When she turns around, Hikaru and Karou are right there with a huge rack of swimwear. "Wh-what's all this!?"
Karou holds out a small, not to mention exposing, looking bikini. "Try this one on."
Looking at the rack of suits suspiciously, Meko then asked them, "Where did you get all of these?"
"Our mom designs swimming suits and longerè." Hikaru explains holding out a colorful, flowery tankini.
"Well, that makes sense... I think I'll choose my own by the way."
/// three suits and six minutes later///
After six minutes, Meko walks out in a black one piece with royal blue whisps an looking down, red with embarrassment. "What do you think..?" Looking up, Meko noticed that everyone left. "Oh well," she sighed picking up her book bag. "Maybe I can finally finish reading this book."
Sitting down on a chair she had pulled out of the jet, Meko hears Mathilda's voice. "Come on Meko! The waters are nice and cool!"
"No thanks," Meko hollers to her cousin. Suddenly a towel covers her eyes and someone picks her up.
