The Broken: Horror House

May went for a walk one summer in the forest. she saw a lonely four storage house and wanted to investigate. but trip on a rock near a river bed and fell straight into an angry river. she scream mommy daddy but they were to far away and she drown right in front of the house. but little may story is far from over. Ten years later two new girls came to the town May was born at one of them Kate lived in May's childhood house as for Maliyah who lived in the house where May's body was found dead both girls begin to see and hear strange things but its not May running the show no someone or something else.

Escape

Maliyah's POV

I'm trapped in this damn jail cell... I have to get out. I've done nothing to Kate... I can't believe this! I don't belong here! I stand up and walk over to the barred window. I wrap my fingers around the cold, rusted metal and stare outside. I sigh and walk to the middle of the room, just standing there, staring at the door. I walk over to the door and pull on the handle, obviously it's locked. I pull hard at the handle, getting extremely afraid and frustrated. I go and sit down on my bed and stare at the wall. I lay down, and fall asleep.

I wake up, I have no idea what time it is. Then Kate's mom enters the room. I feel my shoulders tense up. I cross my arms under my chest and start shaking. Kate's mom walks up to me and sits down beside me. I look at the doorway, the door is still open and two cops are standing there, keeping watch.
"Where's my Kate?" She asks sternly.
"I'm telling you, I don't know" I say, tears streaming down my eyes.
"Please... I just want her safe..." she whispers.
"I don't know where she is! I know you're afraid, and you miss her, but I didn't do anything! I don't belong here! I'm only fifteen! You know in your heart that what you're doing to me isn't right!" I cry out.
"I..." she stutters, she starts crying and runs out of the room. The cops close the cell door and walk away.

What shall I do now?! Kate's mom knows that this is not right, but she won't let me out! I just want to go home. I lay down on the bed silently. I'm getting hungry. This sucks. I just want to get out of here. I'm so afraid.

A few hours past, I did nothing but lay there silently that whole time. I sit there for a while, but Kate's mom comes once more. The light from the halls shooting in. Again, I tense up.
"Please..." I plead. "Let me go"
"I'll ask you once more, where is Kate?" She says harshly. I think hard, trying to come up with an excuse or something, but nothing comes to mind, so I just say "I don't know."

Kate's mom growls and lunges at me, starting to attack and hit me. The cops run in and pull her off and walk her into the corner of the room and start talking to her. . They left the door open... This is my chance. I look over at the cops, then at the door. I get up and sprint out the door. I sprint through the hallways and escape through a fire exit. I reach the road and start running down the street.
The cops barge out of the building. To my luck, a taxi drives past, I call for it, it stops and I get in, then tell the driver my address and tell him to hurry. He drives to my house, I get out of the taxi without paying. He yells at me, but I ignore him and go inside my house. I stop in the hallway to catch my breath. I'm so scared. That was such a rush! I open the door just a crack and peek outside, no cops are here yet. But I hear a scream.
I run out of the house and follow the screams. I keep following the screams to the old house in the forest.
"Help me!" A voice cries out. That voice... It's... It's Kate!
