Chapter 6: The Count

Vanessa sat Jack down. She then walked over and sat in her chaiir at her desk. She opened a file on her computer titled "vampires".
"Ok Jack," Vanessa said. "Just because it is our first mission together, doesnt mean it is going to be an easy one. We are going to the city of Chicago. Once we are there we will hunt the vampire lord known as Dracula."
"Ok," Jack replied "How do we get there?"
"I have a plane," she told him. "Now lets go."
Vanessa led Jack to the roof. There was a plane that could seat two. It was completely black. Jack and Vanessa got in and took off. They headed for Chicago.

They landed outside of Chicago. They got off and went into the city.
"So what's the plan?" Jack asked.
"We find the hideout," Vanessa replied. "Fight Dracula, kick his ass, walk out, and go home and party."
"I like your thinking," Jack said.
Vanessa and Jack waited til night so that the streets would not be as crowded. They began to really look for Dracula's hideout.
"So," Jack said. "This is my first mission. Which is it for you?"
"This is my 42nd mission," Vanessa told him. "And my 7th vampire mission."
"Have you ever fought a demon?" he asked.
"Yes," She replied. "I battled a demon named Calaster a few times. I sent him back to Hell everytime."
"The Yellow eyed demon got me in all this," Jack told her. "Attacked me and my dear Farrah."
"I heard," Vanessa told him. "Dont worry about ASSazel now, just focus on the mission."
"Ok," Jack replied with a smile.
Suddenly, the heard a glass break. They readied their weapons. They slowly began walking in the direction of the noise. They found a broken glass bottle near a open sewer drain. Vanessa pulled out a flashlight and went down. Jack followed her.
Once they were down there, they heard talking. They followed the voices. They found a cave and went in.
"I hope you know what you're doing," Jack told her.
"Stay quiet," Vanessa said. "Or they will hear us."
They kept walking and fell through a trap door. They fell for a few seconds and landed in a dark room.
The lights came on, and The Count was standing there. He had a giant bat creature with him.
"So, Vanessa," Dracula said. "You dare to come after me."
Jack and Vanessa drew their swords.
"Indeed," Vanessa said. "Tonight is your last night."
Without warning, Dracula flew at them. The giant bat creature flew and hit Jack hard. Jack flew and hit the wall and landed on the floor. Vanessa had her sword ready and blocked Dracula's attack.
Jack got up and the bat came at him. He jumped and the bat hit the wall hard. Jack drew his pistol and fired. He hit it in each wing twice. He was trying to disable its flying. The being turned to face Jack.
Vanessa was trying to push Dracula away. She used her .45 and shot Dracula in the gut. Dracula was blasted backwards and Vanessa did a spinning move and sliced off Dracula's head. Dracula's body fell over and he turned to dust. Vanessa turned to watch Jack fight the bat.
The bat swung at Jack. Jack dodged and stabbed it in the arm with his combat knife. The being was about two feet taller than Jack. Jack grabbed onto its arm and leaped onto its back and began stabbing it in the chest over and over with his knife. The bat used its arm to throw Jack off. Jack landed on his feet.
The bat flew at Jack. He timed it just right and punched the being in the face and he thrusted his sword into the heart of it. He pulled his sword out and swung again. He decapitated the bat. The bat turned to dust. Jack stood in victory as Vanessa walked over to him.
"Very good," Vanessa admitted. "I don't think you need training."
"Thanks Vanessa," Jack replied.
"Now, lets get back to headquarters," she said.
They left Chicago headed back to HQ.
