Dance part 2
Ginny:Lexa looked really pretty tonight Lewis probably already kissed her. She was the hottest girl in school. I couldn't think that! I was the most popular AND the hottest school. Lexa was just another nobody. Amanda and Ray came over with their dates and another not hot guy. Caroline and rose soon followed.
"Ginny this is Ryan. Ryan Ginny", Ray said smiling.
Great I had completely forgot I let Amanda, Ray, Caroline, and rose set me up.
"Hi", I made myself sound happy.
Ryan had brown hair and lots of freckles. He handed me a drink.
"Oh thanks", this whole thing felt wrong and awkward.
"Rose told me it was your favorite".
I had to use all my strength not to glare at rose.
"It is"
We talked for like 5 minutes. My heart was racing.
"Do you want to dance".
All my friends were beaming and signaling for me to go with him.
"Why not".
Ryan grabbed my hand and helped me up. His hands were soon on my wast and we were moving across the dance floor. I couldn't wait for it to be over. Ryan was NOT hot. Lewis was the hottest boy I had ever met I wished he was here. The song ended. He wanted to dance again, I agreed. After we sat down and talked some more. Before I knew what was happening his lips were against mine. My eyes were wide opened and I wanted to pull away. Ryan stopped and looked into my eyes. Everything about the kiss felt wrong!
"I have to use the bathroom", I said and left without waiting for Ryan's response.
As soon as I reached the bathroom I had burst into tears and I had no clue why. The door flew open it was Amanda.
"Oh my god Gin what happened it looked like you were having a great time".
"Well I wasn't", I said coldly.
"What wasn't right about it"?
"Everything"!
"Look I just wanted you to be happy".
"And why do guys have to be the answer to happiness. I'm perfectly happy without them".
"Ginny"!
The way Amanda said my name startled me.
"What".
"Never mind I feel stupid bringing it up you like Lewis".
I wiped away my tears and suddenly what Amanda was thinking struck me. My mouth flew open and I locked myself in a bathroom stall.
"Ginny are you okay".
I didn't respond.
"I'm going to go text me if you want to talk".
