Lucid Nightmare

Books and Blood

I finally got to the library and walked into a puddle of blood. There was a giant trail of blood. I knew I had to follow it but, normally on the movies they follow the trail and get a unwelcoming surprise that leads them to perish. I uneasily walked through the line of bookshelves holding my candle out.
I knew I had a last resort of burning the whole place down but, I didn't think it was the end... yet. I found a piece of paper on the floor. I nervously picked it up and it read
'Follow the trail to the outing. Be quick or else..' I stood there for a while just dazed of fear.
I supposed the trail meant the trail of blood on the floor so I followed it. The trail stopped short at the doors so I opened them and the trail carried on.
