Chapter Good Girls (Luke's P.O.V.)
Ashton went on a date with Ally. He went out the Sunday after we first saw her, and when we asked where he went, he immediately told us that he was out with Ally. Michael, Calum and I were so jealous. We didn't even know that he had found her phone number.Ally was kind of taking over my life. I thought about her constantly. But I'd never talked to her - I don't know if she even noticed me.
Then one day, she made me lose my best friend.
My best friend, Lauren, was over at my house. She went up to the bathroom, and I was talking about Ally with Calum.
"Seriously, Luke," he sighed. "I don't know why you're going after Ally too. I mean, you could have Lauren!" Then I said something that I shouldn't have said. I really wish I didn't say it. But I did, and I paid the price.
"Maybe," I agreed. "But, you know, Lauren's just not Ally. She's nice, but she's not as pretty as Ally..."
Calum was staring at me with his eyes wide, and he nodding to the doorway. I turned, and I saw that Lauren was standing there, and it looked a lot like she had tears in her eyes. I was about to apologise, but she ran off as fast as she could. I can't blame her. That was the worst thing I'd ever said.
Lauren has always been quite insecure about the way she looks. She's really pretty, though, and I actually had a crush on her as well as Ally. I'd always told Lauren that she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. I'd meant it, too. But now, I wasn't sure.
Calum kept staring at me. "I'll go talk to her," he said, and walked outside. He came back a few minutes, looking solemn. "She never wants to talk to you or even look at you again," he told me. "She's really upset. She's bawling. I think it hurt her even more because she knows Ally." "She does?" I exclaimed. Calum nodded. "Lauren said that Ally lives a few door down from her," he explained. "Apparently, she's really popular, and all the girls want to be her best friend, and all the boys love her. So she's even more distraught because you know how insecure Lauren can be." I bit my lip, and agreed. "And now she really hates you," Calum continued. "She said that you used to tell her that she was really pretty. Now she isn't sure if you actually meant it. She thinks you were lying. And now she's questioning your whole friendship." "She told you all this?" "Yeah." "Well...oh, I have no idea what to do!" I sighed. "I just lost my best friend because of Ally!" "You should at least try to talk to Lauren," Calum suggested. "You're just saying that because you're hoping that we'll become friends again and you can get Ally!" Calum didn't reply. "I knew it!" I shout. "Well, I also care about your friendship. But I wouldn't be surprised if she never talks to you again. I'm kind of siding with Lauren on this one." "I would too," I mutter.
A/N: Sorry, Heartbreak Girl readers! :(
I'm trying to include some of your OCs in the next few chapters. So please stick with me, they'll be included eventuallly. :)
Just telling you, I changed what I said Ally's hair colour is (in Chapter 1) because of the song. I'll be saying something about her hair in an upcoming chapter, so just in case you were wondering about it when that chapter is put up.
Thank you so much for reading, my lovelies. I know it's not good so far, but please continue reading, I think it'll be better when I start the song. This is just getting started. ;)
