"OH THIS IS FVCKING GREAT!" Stray shouted, her voice echoing throughout the underground. "Stray, calm down," Her brother, Ember said to her. "No Ember! How am I supposed to? Those damned humans trapped us down here!" Stray yelled, her brother winced at her rage. Stray sighed and looked off to the side. "Look I'm sorry Ember... It's just we weren't doing anything to provoke them." Ember hugged the mangled cat that was his sister. "Shh, don't worry about it. Look, we couldn't have done anything about it." He whispered. Stray felt tears stinging in her eye, she attempted to blink them away. "Sis, you alright?" Stray sighed and rubbed her eye with her palm. "Yeah of course bro," She forced herself to chuckle, despite her own hopelessness flooding her soul. She took her hand away and grinned. "Now let's find out what there is for us here," Ember's pale yellow eyes lit up as he dashed onwards. "I THINK THIS IS THE WAY, SIS!" He exclaimed loudly. "Alright, Em." She said as she followed after him.
The two walked for what seemed like an eternity, though it had been only 10 minutes. Then suddenly a flower popped outta the ground. He greeted the two with a smile. "Howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flo-" "Uh Ember did you summon the Pansy?" Stray said, looking to Ember. "Pansy?? Who are you calling Pansy you overgrown house cat?!" The flower sputtered. Stray responded with a chuckle and summoned an ice spike. "Oh looks like I was wrong yet again! Whoops, I didn't mean to insult you, you god be damned WEED!" She growled. "Whoa, whoa! Stray, chill out." Ember put a hand on her sister's shoulders, holding her back. Stray's one green eye glared back at him, but the glare softened and the spike vanished from her hand. "Sorry," She muttered, looking down to the ground. Flowey huffed irritably. "Anyways as I was saying. I'm Flowey the Flower and you two must be new to the Underground, blah, blah, blah. I would be the one to tell you how things work, but it seems one of you will work out just fine here. After all, the rule is Kill or be Killed." Ember's eyes go slightly wide and he releases his sister's shoulders to cover his mouth. "W-what?" "You heard me," Stray looked to her brother and stood on her tiptoes to grab the sides of his face. "Don't listen to him bro," She whispered with a small smile. "You won't have to kill anyone, I promise." Ember huffed. "Seriously?" "I am dead serious bro, I am gonna protect you." Ember rolled his eyes at her. "Whatever," Stray let him go and put her hands on her hips. "So Weed, how are we gonna get outta here?" Flowey started to laugh as if she told him a hilarious joke. "You actually think- You actually- Jeez you are an idiot!" Stray narrowed her eyes at him. "You aren't getting out until the king gets the seven human souls and well, we only have 4." Stray felt the hopelessness sink in again, was he serious? Only an hour ago had they been on the surface now they were trapped. "Don't worry! We can wait, besides, there may be another way than to kill 7 kids!" Ember exclaims. "There always is another way if you just look up to it!" Stray looked up at Ember and nearly cried but she managed to keep herself in one piece. He had previously found a way to duplicate souls so, how hard could this be? Flowey sighed. "Think what you want," Flowey said if he could shrug he would have. "But I wish you two the best of luck, later." He then popped back into the ground, letting the two siblings walk forwards into the ruins.
