Connections With StarClan

        All medicine cats always have connections with StarClan. They receive messages and omens. They form the Clan. But, in my term of being a medicine cat, I have never received a message from StarClan. No messages, no omens and no signs. No one knows that I don't receive these qualities. I never feel worthy, and I don't know if I ever will. I always believe StarClan will show me a sign, I will never stop believing.
        I look up at the ceiling. I look up with my weary eyes.
        "Please," I whisper. "Please, StarClan. Show me a sign." I close my eyes.
        "please.."
