Short inuyasha story part 4

Kaede

Kiohai ducked into the hut, wondering if she could trust kaede or not. Kagome had said she could, but she still didn't fully trust anyone in this time. The old woman was sitting in one corner of the hut with a tray full of healing herbs, water, and cloths.kiohai was getting a bit scared. She fell over. It was like whenever she worried, the pain in her back got worse. She stood up slowly and walked over to the corner of the room. She sat down. Kaede  looked at her. "However did ye get that injury, child?" She asked. Before kiohai got a chance to answer, kaede continued, "ye are dressed like thee of kagome's time. How did ye get here?" Kaede seemed so kind. And kiohai knew she could trust her now. She turned around and allowed kaede to clean her wounds through the tear in her uniform. She winced while she was doing so. "To answer the first question, I was somehow clawed by a


demon,  found this bow and arrow, later on it morphed into a huge boomerang." She said, showing the boomerang to kaede. "And the second question, I jumped into a well and ended up here. I heard that the only way you could end up here was by having, "sacred jewel shards" inside of you." Kaede looked stunned. She stood up. She walked into another part of the hut and took some form of armor off of a stand. It was pink with black at every joint. "I knew ye would come someday, kiohai." She said. "What do you mean?" Asked kiohai, getting ready to run. Kaede slowly walked next to kiohai. She held up the armor. "When I complete healing your wounds, I would like ye to dress in this armor." She said. "O...Kay?" Said kiohai. She sat back down, but gripped her boomerang a little tighter. Kaede wrapped bandages around kiohai's waist Where the claw was. Before she did this, she placed and held a strange herb against kiohai's back. It made kiohai twitch, because it stung. The herb was attached to her back now. When kaede was done doing her job, she walked out of the hut to give kiohai some privacy. Kiohai quickly undressed and put on the


armor. It was a tad uncomfortable, but it was the perfect size. She slung her boomerang over her back. Kiohai took a hair tie off of her wrist and did her hair up in a tight ponytail. She looked at herself in a large bowl of water. She looked almost like a born warrior. She walked out of the hut carrying her bloody clothes. Luckily, she had found a knapsack inside the hut, and placed her uniform inside. Kagome noticed her first and pulled her bow and arrow from her back. " Geez, kagome! It's me, kiohai!" Exclaimed kiohai. Kagome gasped and lowered her bow. She ran over to kiohai and hugged her. "Dang, I wish I had armor!" She said dreamily. "To protect myself from you-know-who..." "hey!" Shouted inuyasha. "Sit!" Said kiohai, once she realized that inuyasha was sharpening his claws on one of her old shoes. Inuyasha sat down on the dirt and tapped his fingers on the dirt. His dog-like ears perked up. He sniffed the air. Kagome suddenly gasped. She pulled out her bow again. Miroku held his staff out in front of him, kirara growled, and shippo hid behind kiohai. "Something's coming." Said inuyasha. "Something big."
