Lily Evans sat at the Gryffindor Table in the Hogwarts Great Hall, staring expectantly at the podium on the platform where the teachers ate. She hadn't touched her Treacle Tart and had barely eaten any dinner. Suddenly Dumbledore stood up and any talking subdued instantly. "Welcome back to another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" he called "I hope you have all enjoyed this brilliant feast. Now, let's get down to business. The Head Girl for this year, Gryffindor, Lily Evans!! Could she please join me up here". Cheers erupted from 3 of the 4 tables. The final table replied with hisses and boos. "Now, the Head Boy. Another Gryffindor James Potter!! Up here too please" Lily's heart sank as James joined Lily up on the podium. "Back to your dormitories, please!" Dumbledore announced over the excited chatter. Meet me in my office in 10 minutes" he added in an undertone to Lily & James. "How did you get in!?!" she screeched as soon as they were out of earshot. "I can't believe I have to work with you all year". "Don't be ridiculous Evans, I know you're going to love it. Lily & James started walking over to Dumbledore's Office, without looking at each other the whole time.
