"I'm off to work Izzy!"
        Mike Black kissed his pregnant wife. He stepped out the door and walked to work. He opened his umbrella. As Mike walked down the sidewalk, he hummed the tune of "Singing in the rain" because it was pouring. Mike got into it. He started spinning and skipping down the sidewalk. A car screeched to a stop. There was a hedgehog inside. He looked like Mike, except he was blue. A pink female hedgehog with purple hair was in it. The blue hedgehog rolled down his window.
                "Sir, what are you doing out here?" Mike turned his head.
                "Why?" The blue hedgehog sighed.
                "Would you like a ride?" Mike smiled.
                "No thank you." The car drove off.
        Mike sighed and continued walking. Why wouldn't I go to work? He thought. Why would that blue hedgehog say that? Mike was caught up with his thoughts. The rain was getting worse. There was more rain, thunder, and then, lightning. Mike got a text. He picked up his phone. It was from his work. It said, "Work is canceled due to the weather. Sorry for the inconvenience.
        Mike sighed and put his phone in his pocket. He turned around to go home. But, when he turned around.. there was something. Or someone. Mike didn't know. All he saw were eyes. Big, red, glowing, eyes. Mike dropped his phone. A creature jumped at Mike. Mike fell. A giant bat was clawing at Mike's chest. Mike, now gasping for breath, screamed as the bat bit him. The bat flew away. Mike was bloody, screaming, and slowing closing his eyes. Mike closed his eyes. He stopped screaming. There was Mike, lying in the middle of the street, dead.
