Diary of an otaku

Dec.1- Explaining

Hi! Today is finally December!
It feels like I wrote so much in November!
Thank goodness this diary has so much pages!
Anyways I need to tell you the rest of what happened two days ago.
Since Oliver texted me that he was babysitting Liam I texted him back:
Me: What?
He did not reply even thought though it said 'read'
After a while I decided to text him again.
Me: I saw you at the concert. Why did you lie that you are going to the ballet concert?
Oliver: I will explain at school. Gtg bye
Me: Ok...
So that's what happened two days ago.
Right now it's Monday so I will tell you what happened today.
When I got to school I saw Oliver waiting for me as usual.
His skin was pale and he looked nervous.
"Hi. Can you tell me?" I said.
"Ok" he said. "The reason why I had to cancel it is because I got a babysitting job last minute. I had to accept it. The reason why is because... The only reason why I can go to this school is because I am a babysitter. Everyone likes when I babysit so lots of people want me to babysit. It's odd because I don't tend to be nervous to little kids. So if I did not go to the babysitting job I could of possibly lost my scholarship at this school. I am not allowed to talk to anyone either then the child when I am babysitting. Unless it's like the police or something but I can't talk to friends."
I could not believe what he had said.
To be honest I don't really know Oliver that well I though I did.
"Ok... I understand!" I said after a couple seconds.
He just smiled at me and we held hands as we walked to school.
"Please don't tell anyone" he whispered in my ear as we left to out classes.
I just nodded.
Well that's all that happened today so... BYE!
