The Date || Scott x Jimmy

  Scott stepped out of his house and into the sunlight of the rising sun, his wings stretching out behind him. Just a normal early morning in Rivendell. Well, that was until a cod boy came hurting towards him. “SCOTT!! WATCH OUT!!” jimmy yelled as he came hurtling toward the ground, elytra on his back. But it was to late, scott hadnt realised what was happening in time to move and was soon met with the tall body of jimmy hitting his. The two fell to the ground with a thud, scotts wings ruffling in the process.
“Ugh…jimmy…”
“Eheh, sorry scott, I need to get better at landing..”
“Yeah, no kidding..”
Jimmy quickly stood up, helping scott up soon after. Scott dusted himself off, brushing his fingers through the feathers of his wings to fix the ruffling that had happened. “Why are you here anyway? You didnt say you’d be coming by, especially not this early…” Scott asked, the sun had barely rose and scott was a little agitated due to the fact he had waken up so early. He got even more agitated at the thought that jimmy would have waken him up if he was still asleep, which would be worse in his opinion. “What? I can’t come over to see my boyfriend for a random visit?” Scott gave him a tired deadpanned look. “Oh, come on, petal~ Dont be so grumpy” Scott was a sucker for that pet name, and jimmy knew it. Scott sighed, smiling slightly, jimmy smiling brightly in response. “Theres that smile I love! Noooow, I actually came by because I had a surprise for you, petal..” Scott raised an eyebrow, trying to ignore the faint blush rising to his face. “A surprise..?” “Yep! Thats what I said! Actually, it’s here in Rivendell!”
“Here in Rivendell?! When did you build that?”
“Last night! I stayed up alll night preparing it, just for you!” Jimmy said, his bright smile never leaving his face. Scott sighed softly, shaking his head with a soft smile, as much as he loved jimmy, which was a lot, he felt like he woud never get any sleep unless scott made him. Jimmy was very excitable, and had a lot of energy. Scott couldnt tell you how many times jimmy had stayed up all night working on something and forgetting to sleep or take a break, which left scott with a tired and clingy jimmy the next day, which while great for cuddling, not very great for getting things done in Rivendell. “Anyway, enough with the talk, come on!” Jimmy said excitedly, taking scotts hand and pulling him up Rivendells hill. Scott couldnt help but wonder where jimmy was taking him, or what they were going to do, was this a date? They had only been on one date before and that was for an alliance. Well, he really set up that date because he wanted an excuse to go out with jimmy, but he wouldnt have told you that. Scott listened as jimmy giggled and mumbled to himself, noting that jimmy seemed oddly energetic for being up all night. He smiled and blushed softly, the thought of jimmy doing this and being so excited just for him made him feel all…fuzzy. It was cheesy and he hated that, but he didnt know how else to explain it. “Scott?” Jimmys voice broke him from his thoughts.
“Yeah?”
“You okay? Your squeezing my hand”
Scott blushed and looked down, easing up his grip
“O-Oh, yeah, my bad”
“Its alright! Anyway, close your eyes~!”
“Huh-?” Before Scott could respond, his eyes were covered by the green gloves of his boyfriend. “Shhh, its for the surprise, just keep walking!” “Okay..?” Though he was curious, he didnt attempt to move his hands. After a few minutes of walking, jimmy stopped. “Alright, here it is!” Jimmy uncovered his eyes, revealing a long river with poppys, roses, and other flowers all around the sides and a boat at the begginning.
“You…did all this..?” Scott asked soflty, trying not to let how much awe he actually was in. “Well…yeah, I mean, after that little date you took me on..I wanted to repay you..” Jimmy said, a small blush apperaing on his face. Scott smiled as he saw said blush, kissing his boyfriend on the cheek before walking over to the boat. Jimmy stood there for a moment, frozen and blushing as he was caught a bit off guard. Eventually, he shook his head and snapped out of his frozen state, running over to the boat and getting in front. Scott got in and wrapped his arms around jimmys waist, resting his head on his shoulder. Jimmy smiled widely, riding off this lovey dovey high and affection he was getting. Jimmy began to paddle down the river, the river side was adorned with flowers, hearts, and even signs with dumb little sweet pick up lines, making scott sigh, but giggle as he saw them. By the end of the boat ride, scott was cuddled up to jimmy, face nuzzled into the side of his neck and wings cupped around the both of them.
“Hehe, and you call me clingy”
“Shut up, cod boy..”
“Eheh, alright, petal..”
