Riddle?

The air whooshes in my ears as I jump off of the ledge at the top of the waterfall. I'm at the small waterfall in our woods, trying to calm down and refrain from destroying Ivy. My hair flies above me, dancing in the wind.
With a slap, I hit the water. The cool liquid slides over my body like butter as I glide over to the bank. Hoisting myself onto the clay shore, I notice a flash of rainbow light over at the base of the falls.
Slowly creeping over to it, my eyes squinting, it disappears. Instead, the water pressure seem sot decrease as I edge under it - and fail to bump into a rock wall. I feel all around with my hands, blindly groping for the wall I know should be here. But there is none. Suddenly, a light flicks on - from out of nowhere - and I blink in surprise.
The stone walls are covered in drawings - some are made with mud mixed with water, while others look to be doodled in berry juice. I reach over to one, my hand extending like beige sticks in the dim light. My ring finger just makes contact when a shrill beep startles me. I jump and whirl around, but the cavern is empty. My legs are shaking, and I step over to where the noise had seemed to come from. Sure enough, a sleek metal box lies in a narrow crack in the wall. Sticking out of it is a sheet of paper, which I remove and unfold.
" 'There are three apples on a table and you take two. How many do you have?' " I read. "Duh! I have two!" The paper immediately dissolves into what looks like sugar, and the strange powder builds itself up into what resembles a child's drawing of a checkmark. I smile, very pleased with myself. The shrill beep sounds again, and in one flick of my wrist, the note is in my hands, unfolded. " 'What do you call a fish without eyes?' " I read aloud again. This one is a little harder, but I get it. "A fsh!" I exclaim, and the paper once again makes the dust-checkmark. Very pleased with myself, I wait in anticipation for the beep. Once it comes, I retrieve the paper and read it aloud. " 'Jimmy's mom has 4 children: March, April, and May. Who's the 4th child?' Jimmy!"
