Impossible Love (An TAWOG Fanfic) (Gumball x Tina)

The Walk

     He took his time, taking in the sights of Elmore before he had to go to school. The park, the beach, the stores. He saw Donut Cop, Rocky, Larry, Larry. He smiled and chuckled inwardly, knowing that, in the wacky city that is Elmore, Larry is the base of the economy. He works every part-time job and when he quit, he accidentally plunged the entire city into an apocalypse. He walked on, letting his mind wander as the sun slowly crept up through the sky, lighting the city in orange.
     He saw that he was getting close to his bully, Tina’s home. He sped up his pace, hoping he could get past it, until he heard shouting from inside.  They were arguing, Tina and her dad. There was no misunderstanding it. Tina and her father are T-Rex’s, and when they argue, it’s in their native tongue, which consists of roars and growls. Not wanting to die, he thought of moving on. Cursing himself and his curiosity, he snuck inside. You know what they say, “curiosity killed the cat.”
