Valentine's Day (Part 2)

I walk outside with this beautiful cake I made earlier. Cream showed me how, and for my first time, it was amazing results. I decorated it in special blue icing. For Sonic.
"Guess who?" I hear someone say, as a pair of hands cover my eyes.
"Oh, gee, I don't know," I say. "Is it Knuckles?"
The hands are removed from my eyes, and I see Sonic standing in front of me. I blush.
He then eyes the cake. "Nice cake. Who is it for?"
"Well... umm..." I say. "It's..." I start to blush even more. "It's for you Sonic."
"You made it for me?" he asks.
"Yes. Cream showed me how."
"One thing's for sure, it's passed the good-looking test." We both laugh at his joke. He then lifts me up, one arm holding my legs, the other supporting my back. He runs towards the woods, with me in his hands.

We find a dry spot of grass in the woods to sit on. I give Sonic the cake I made him and he takes a bite from it. His eyes grow wide, which makes me nervous.
"You don't like it?" I ask.
"I've had a lot of cakes in my life," he says. "But this one's the best! Thanks Jackie."
I smile, blushing. "You're welcome."
"Hey, I got something for you too." He takes out a beautiful dark blue box with a sky blue ribbon attached to it and gives it to me. As I open it, I couldn't believe what it contained. It was a beautiful silver necklace and in the dangling circle was the most beautiful sapphire I have ever seen in my life!
I can feel my eyes swelling with tears of joy. "Oh my gosh, Sonic! It's beautiful!" I look up, but Sonic is gone. In his place is a beautiful blue rose. I pick it up, and it reminds me of him. "Thank you Sonic." I kiss the sapphire on my necklace. My tears escape as I wipe them away. "Thank you."
