The Blurs

I was drawing in my journal as usual. I was drawing what I thought the blurs looked like. A couple weeks ago the news reported a blue blur that saved a bank from a robbery and then, there was a back, white, and red blur. So me and my friend Olivia became big fans and started to guess what they look like. She says their colored cheetahs. I think that their aliens from another planet. "Ms. White put away that journal this instant." My teacher Dr.Johnson demanded. I immediately hid my journal underneath all of my history books. The bell finally rang and I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door. "Hey Julie!" My friend Olivia yelled as she was running over to me. "You'll never believe what I did."
"You've grown a brain?" I asked excitedly. "Ha ha ha. I forgot how to laugh." Olivia said with sarcasm. "No. Since my dad is a cop and all he recorded the security film of the blue blur stopping the bank robbery."
"So..."
"So... I took his phone and zoomed in on the blue blur and take a look at this." Olivia said holding out a picture of the blue blur. I squinted hard at the picture. "Spikes.....IT A PORCUPINE!" I yelled with excitement. "I know right a blue fast porcupine!" Olivia said with excitement. The bell rang school was out for the rest of the summer. I ran outside and sang. "SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER, SCHOOLS OUT FOR EVER!"
"Bye Julie call or text if you find any info about the blurs!" Olivia called out. "OK!" I responded. I hoped on the bus to get home. "Hey nerd." Someone called out. All of the sudden I fell hard on the ground. Everyone laughed, I just stood up and went to the back of the bus. I sat there drawing a new image of what I thought the blue blur looked liked after what Olivia told me. The bus stopped and I hopped off. Of course neither my dad or step-mom were their because they were at work. I went inside and said to my self. "Next year, high school." I sat in my dad's recliner and watched TV. My phone buzzed and my step-mom texted me that she wont be home till 10:59. My dad texted me that he just got into Idaho. My dad was on a business trip. I went outside put on my helmet, hopped on my bike and rode around the neighborhood. I went back home only to find the kid next door Carson. "HEY JULIE I FOUND A COOL TRAIL IN THE WOODS WANNA COME?!" He yelled at me. I parked my bike next to him. "Sure just don't get me in trouble like last time." I said. We road into the woods and stopped in the middle of a clear opening. "Carson why did you bring me...." I turned around and he was gone. Great I'm gonna die. I looked up and it was already dark, so I eventually found my way back home. I received a lecture from my step-mom and went to my room. Grounded again. I heard a thud outside my window I looked outside and I saw three hedgehogs and a echidna.
