The little rabbit was looking up at me with pleading eyes, as if she was waiting for me to forgive her. I stammered,"I-it's ok." She brightened up.
"Are you new here? Do you know anyone around here or are you all alone?"
"What m-makes you think that?"
"You look sad." Tana was calming down. 'Why does she make me feel comfortable all of a sudden?' I answered with,
"Well, I-I'm not f-friends with anyone here, but I d-do know some people..." Just then I Heard Tails voice.
"Come on Tana! What's wrong?" He came down the hill and saw the rabbit. "oh, hi Cream!" So her name was Cream...
Anyway, Tails managed to convince me to go back with him. 'Why does no one here make me feel comfortable? They all make me nervous.' With Cream around, I was able to loosen up a little. They told me to ask them any questions I had, so I said the first thing that came to mind. I pointed to Knuckles.
"What are you?" Uh oh, wrong question. He didn't seem very happy abut that. In fact he looked ready to beat me to a pulp.Sonic stopped him and said,
"Knuckles, she said she rarely sees other Mobians. she simply hasn't seen anyone like you." At this reasoning, he calmed down. He folded his arms and said very proudly,
"For your information, I'm an Echidna."
"a what?"
"An Echidna. I'm Knuckles the Echidna." He said irritably.
*Tails P.O.V.* We talked to Tana a bit, but she just looked more and more confused. There seemed to be a battle raging inside that hedgehog's head. She seemed quite nice, she's just not very outgoing. We asked her questions, she asked us questions, the only person who didn't look confused was Cream, and that's because she wasn't listening!
I usually don't act this way, but she is really starting to get on my nerves. After a while, she looked like she couldn't take any more of this. Her face was red, and tears were forming in her eyes. She screamed,
"WHY DOESN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND ME!? I JUST WANT TO GO HOME" She was balling. Wait, how old was she? Because just then she looked about 7. Tana sprinted away. THE THIRD TIME!!!! Why on Mobius did Shadow give her to us?! Oh yeah, to torture us.
"I'll go get her." I said dully, but Sonic stopped me.
"Let her go."
"Why?"
"She probably just needs to think." I sighed. That green hedgehog was a handful. Really, get it together, Tana!!!!
