A Day In The Forest

Unlike chapter one, the rest of the story will be told from Azura's point of view

     I look into my closet and grab a white,gold,and light blue chiton and my leather sandals.As I'm lacing my sandals I hear Dad call,"Azura come on,Persephone is leaving today and Demeter needs someone to comfort her."I sigh poor Demeter,"Coming Dad!"I holler.I run downstairs and grab some olive bread.Man next time I see Athena I have to thank her for inventing olives."Azura I'll wait for you outside!"Dad calls and he's out the door.As I make my way to the door I see the flower I had left on the table last night.I'll go to the forest but Dad can't know about it.I walk outside,greet dad,and we start the walk to Demeter's.
     The walk lasted about 15 minutes and Dad and I didn't talk to each other much.The most exciting thing that happened during the walk was when Dad and I met up with Zeus and his son Ares.Ares is about my age and we're in the same class,we hang out a lot and his sister Athena is my best friend.When we arrived at Demeter's,Dad and her talked a bit while I helped Persephone pack.When I walked into Demeter's kitchen I noticed that my Dad had already left.
     Demeter,Persephone,and I walked to the forest together.Demeter and I watched Persephone get whisked away into the underworld by Hades' chariot.As soon as Demeter saw that her daughter was gone she sank to the ground falling on her knees.At the same time it started to heavily snow.I led crying Demeter to a large pine tree with drooping needles low enough to act as a hut to protect us from the snow."Demeter,"I say remembering the flower's words"I'm going to go see if there is a berry bush nearby.Berries make a good snack."Demeter to torn to say anything just nodded,waved,her hand and put her head on the tree trunk.I ran through the forest though I could barely see because of all the snow.After running for a few minutes I trip and fall,I stare at my snow covered leg and feel like crying."Demeter help!"I scream."Azura!Azura!"I hear the same voice that came from the flower last night."Yes." I say."I miss you!I love you!"the voice replies."Who are you?" I ask.
"I love you Azura."the voice says while fading.I sigh,not much help but better than nothing."Azura!Azura where are you?"but now it's my dad's voice.
