I enter through the door. A lady hugs me, and then a man. They say how much they've missed me, and they're apparently full of emotion. I decide to look around, and think how about how grateful I am to not see white and gray and machines everywhere.
To have the freedom to move when I choose.
"Mom, I'm fine." Who said that? Was it me? They smile, and then hug me.
"Nilani, welcome home. We know you don't know us. We're your parents. Remember?" The worried look in the women's eyes brings me unexplainable memories of cooking with her. Playing out in the lawn. Watching movies.
"Mom, Dad. Mom, Dad, Mom, Dad." These are the first words I've been aware of. I said them and realized it.
"Nilani!" They both hug me, but I feel numb. Where am I? They lead me to a oddly familiar room, and tell me to sit on the bed. When they leave, I let my tears flow free, mourning my lost memories and awareness.

Chapters should be longer. (Sorry if these aren't full sentences...)

Combine first chapter with second. Add third chapter to first.

Great story so far. I love it. Nice. (Which means this is actually a huge compliment because I haven't complimented ANYONE yet. LOL? :) )
