Now dig a mote round tower. The mote has to be 3 blocks wide on each side of the tower and 4 blocks deep  where there's no more ground for the slime will fall into. Now fill the mote with water. It has to be filled to the top because slime are also attracted to water. So there you have it. The slime will get attracted to the light and the water and fall into the mote and fall off the earth to plummet death. Place these near some of your buildings that you build in the flatland. That way the slime won't be bouncing and getting stuck near your house which is extremely annoying.
