Chapter III
I eventually found the mask. I turned t over and found a strange message etched into it, "The only way to stop him", then the message was blurred. "CATO WHERE ARE YOU?" Clove kept screaming. "I was looking in my brother's cabin to see if I could find some of his stuff." Cato replied. He showed us that his brother wanted to be a soldier, and had brought his dad's Purple Heart to camp. "I wish that he was buried with military honors. Not full, but like some, you know?." I told Cato. "Yeah, he would have been a good soldier. You know, he took a bullet for me when we were 12 and and an armed robber came into our house." Cato told me. I wanted to hear more when we heard a scream. Clove had screamed because she thought she had seen someone move in the distance. "Clove, it's OK, it was probably the wind moving a tree." I told her. "Yeah, you're right. Wanna have a campfire and talk?" Clove asked. We agreed. We talked and roasted marshmallows until we all got tired and fell asleep...despite the blood curdling screams we heard.
