The faceless attacker

It's a fiction story that's based in the 1800's. It's about village that usually don't have much food supplies. So the villagers decide to go out into a forest to see if their is any food to hunt. That's when they discover the slender thing that's starts slowling killing the villagers. Only a few survivors remain and will soon have to leave the village. Read on to find out

The forest of nothing but him

Bang! My eyes flashed open. I was walking through the village about to go on a hunting spree a few seconds ago. And now, I seem to be up against a black tree in total darkness. I sat up! Where did mum and dad go? I was alone in a dark lifless forest.
I looked up! I could see stars. It was already night. This was scary. I stood up, and took one step. I heard a crunch as my foot was lsid on the rocks and grass. I took another step. I felt a wietd lump under my foot. I moved my foot off it and picked upthe lump. It was a flashlight. I flicked the switch to see if it worked. Light flickered on and shone on the green grass. It worked allright. I began to wander throgh the forest.
