The Wreck
My hands ached as I tightly gripped the door handle and I looked at the white scenery passing by. My head spun with thoughts of the worst. Crashing, getting seriously hurt, death. My breathing sped up just thinking about it. Mom turned around and looked at me with concerned eyes, then said, "Its okay. We wont crash. I promise." I shook my head and looked out the front windshield, getting blinded with lights. I hear the deafening screech of metal tearing and feel my seatbelt restrain as we turn upside down. I close my eyes and feel my head hit the side of the car and something cut my arm. The seatbelt restrains again and I feel the car stop rolling. My eyes open back up and all I see is red. A sharp pain shoots up my arm and I raise my hand to see blood running down it. My vision blurs and a single tear drops out of my eye. I whisper a single name then black out.
