Chapter, Madness driving into Betrayal

I started to laugh vividly, it was insane yes but I finally did it, L had made his slip, he allowed himself to make the first move of approaching Raito and showing himself to public, now all I have to do is write his name down and get rid of him! That way I become L and take control of the world, to vanquish all the evil of this world and become a new god! I didn’t notice Light behind me as she watched me in a scared form shaking; she suddenly shook her head violently
        “Night! Stop this! Will you truly kill L only to get your way?! Are you willing to kill the one person you admire?” she shouted, surprising me
        I looked at her for a moment, I then smirked “of course Light, this is the only way” I said simply
        She was taken aback, she shook her head once more sadly this time “well I've had enough of this” and with that she came racing towards me
        My eyes widen as I saw what she was aiming for and I lunged out trying to stop her “Light wait!” I shouted
        But it was too late, she reached over me, grabbing hold of the drawer holding the Death Note, and pulled with all her might, there was a snap of the string and then the sound of liquid dripping, I looked down horrified, her form unmoving, eyes dark and lifeless, the one I cared for… is dead.
        “Ryuzaki”(L) Watari (Wammy) states calmly through the computer system
        L carelessly presses the intercom “what is it Watari?” he states in a monotonous voice
        “I believe you need to return to the Wammy house, it is rather important,” Wammy says and they could hear the sadness in his voice even through the computer
        “Should you be mentioning the Wammy house Watari?” L questions
        “It’s pertaining to the Kira case, and you have to see it face to face”
        L thought a moment before nodding “alright, I will go” he states, “Prepare for the earliest flight out of here”
        “Already done”
        L nods before getting up and walking out, leaving the investigation team wondering.

        I listened carefully as I heard the footsteps come closer to me, more like shuffling of bare feet on to the cold ground, my eyes were only concentrated on the body before me as I sat calmly on to a chair with her in my arms, and the cursed Death Note laying on top of her. I heard the familiar creek of the door as L finally opens the door, but when he saw me he stared agape
        “Night?” he questions
        I looked up to him, my face devoid of any emotion before letting the words slip out of my mouth
        “I Am Kira”
