Their Abilities and Expenses

As mentioned before, each Wolfmage gains a special ability at birth, of an element. These elements can include:

Fire
Earth
Water
Wind/Air
Light
Dark
Electricity
Snow/Ice

However, these abilities are bestowed at great expense. All current wolves who have been given these magical abilities to become a Wolfmage have lost half of their vision - they are now blind in one eye, and a symbol of their magical ability has replaced the eye itself.

A few Wolfmages have also been recorded to lose half of their consciousness, depending on their element and their surroundings.
