Goddess Athena

Goddess Athena Medusa felt the room tilting and swirling in front of her. There was an unbearable pain in her thighs and her clothes were being torn apart by Poseidon. Her chest heaved up and down since she could not breathe properly, overwhelmed by Poseidon's muscled body.

She was broken to pieces. Her white, silk dress was tainted with blood, tears and what was left of this atrocious act. Her ragged clothes barely covered her body and she was left with at the feet of the goddess' statue. With a wicked smile drawn on his face, Poseidon left Medusa to bear the consequences of having seduced him by her beauty. He left for Atlantis leaving behind a weeping Medusa.

Medusa reflected on what happened during a few minutes then was surprised by the sound of thunder and lightning. The ground was shaking and a bright light filled the temple and blinded Medusa. She tried to figure out what was happening and as the light faded to a yellow glow the silhouette of the goddess Athena herself was formed.

She glared at Medusa with eyes filled with fury...

i actually love medusa. once as results in a quiz i was said to be a gorgon :D and i got the idea to write the story of a gorgon.. ;)

yea i found it cruel of athena to do that too and i think poseidon should have been the one to be punished but i guess what makes the story interesting is medusa being the victim etc :)

i remember this legend. i saw this legend on wikipedia when i was researching athena. i think it was cruel of athena doing that but i think it was called for. it was cruel,but good 4 medusa.
