Did he notice?

Everyday and every time i walked down the aisle, sat next to the window or leaned by the window panes, I would look at Autumn High Boys Wing with the hope to catch a glimpse of him. The two buildings face each other, even though boys and girls share different classrooms, we share the same fields, gardens and grounds outside the classes and gym. I get to see him during lunch breaks and activities. Shun is a second year student, one year ahead of me! Outstanding at both academics and sports, he is among the most popular boys at school.

Lately i have been speaking to my classmates and have become close friend with a girl who is similar to me, wishes to become a famous artist and is named Seika Clovad. She is nice and already has a boyfriend! I am not jealous because i have never thought of getting a boyfriend due to my personality.

As i walked down the aisle that day, I saw him amidst girls and boys, still smiling and charming, he did not notice me as i passed them. The next day, at the cafeteria, he sat with his peers at the table faced to mine. Seika was speaking non-stop about Leonardo Da Vinci, and i stared at his long slender fingers busy handling plates and drinks, his moving lips as he spoke and ate and his gaze on his friends overflowing with happiness and kindness.
Then our eyes met! I was staring at him for long now and this was bound to happen. Flustered and panic-striken, i averted my eyes and looked at everything and nothing! I could now feel his stares piercing me and as I once again met his eyes, I saw they were filled with enthusiasm, interest and a teasing smile was drawn on his beautiful face. He noticed today...
