They arrived after 20 minutes. The girl stepped out of the car, ready to shock. She knew it'd shock them. Heck, it'd shock Isaac. But maybe people would like the new her for HER, not the girl who's dating a famous jock so she is automatically rated popular."Have a nice day, Helena!" her mom said.
She grinned.
"Indeed I will."
She strutted down the sidewalk leading to the school with just enough sass to be funny. Cause admit it, sass was funny.
She noticed someone looking at her oddly.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully.
The girl shyed away from her.
"S-sorry, I-i'm waiting for s-someone..."
She ran off.
Dang it, people with social anxiety. They couldn't help it, but still...
She shoved the entrance to the school open and marched inside.
She was met with an icy blast of air. Darnit, air conditioners.
She went inside of the school gym and sat on the red and blue bleachers. Patriotism much?
She pulled out her computer and started finishing homework for her science class.
Slowly, people started to fill up the bleachers. She scanned the rows for Isaac. What if he was-
"Hey, Hele- WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO YOUR hair?!?"
Oh dang.
She felt everyone's eyes shift to her. Oh, what'd she give to melt into the ground....

Whispers circulated around.
"Is she dating Vampire Freak again?"
"She looks so emo."
The girl felt the tears slide down her face. How could she have been so stupid?
