how to write your first song

so once you've figured out what kind of song your going to write now it's time to write your lyrics for example my first song went like this:
Title: Love is a funny thing
verse 1-
          oh, honey i know we had our ups and downs but i know if we build up our love and forget about the past then we could be strong enough to push away the hurt and be positive.
not the greatest song ever but good for a start ( I wrote that when I was six)
