the day i met gretchen
i'm your average cool kid, the ladies loved me, guys wanted to be me, and parents wanted their kids to be just like me. I had it all, until gretchen came to my school. Gretchen wasn't your average kid; nobody talked to her, people were scared of her, she always ate alone at lunch. Their was something about her that kept pulling me towards her. One day i was staring at her from afar and my friends noticed and asked me why was i looking at that loser. So i told them " I bet if i asked her out she would say yes" so the challenge was made and as i walked across that lunch room i knew that she was going to be mine. As i approached her, i already knew what i was going to say."Hey Gretchen i don't think you know me but i can't stop thinking how beautiful you are and how we should go out". (Now that i think about it this is really the part when i actually did like her). She looked me right in my eyes and said, "I'm not interested", and she walked off. I was speechless; no girl has every turned me down and she sure wasn't about to be my first
