Chapter 1
"Mom, why can't I go on tour with you?" I ask my mom. My mom is Autumn Starr. Yes, THE Autumn Starr"Alice, we've talked about this" she says in a stern voice. We're outside of my aunt Julie's house, sitting in my moms car. "Look, you're gonna love it here. Trust me"
I have to trust her. She has never broken a promise. "Okay, tell my how it goes" I say leaning in for a hug.
"I'm going to miss you" she whispers in my ear.
"Me too" I say as we let go. I get out of the car and wave bye to my mom.
Here goes nothing. I knock on the door and wait for my aunt to answer. She opens the door "Alice, you've grown up!" She says. "Come on in"
My aunt Julie looks like she's in her early 20's. She has light brown wavy hair and blue eyes. She's wearing a yellow sundress with white flats, and an apron.
"Hi" I say a bit shyly. I walk in and I smell cookies. Yum!
She looks embarrassed "Sorry about the mess, I was making cookies and time flew by, next thing I knew you knocked on the door" she laughed.
I set my bag down "it's okay"
"Oh, I almost forgot" she grabbed my hand and led me through the upstairs hallway into a room "this is your room, I hope you like it. Your mom told me about you and I decorated it how I thought you might like it"
The room had a neonish green walls, white frames, a queen sized bed with blue plush covers, a white desk in the far left corner, a giant mirror above a bureau, a huge walk-in closet, a 30" flat screen tv and 2 bean bag chairs.
"I love this room" I said walking in "it's so beautiful"
"Glad to hear that" she said with a smile. "Unpack and I'll call you down when lunch is ready" Julie said leaving.
"Okay" I said opening my first bag if luggage.
By the time I was done putting away my clothes from my first luggage, my aunt Julie called me down for lunch. I put down the small stack of clothes I had in my hand, on the bed, and walked down to the dining room.
I took out a plate and sat down "what's for lunch?" I asked.
She did the same, except she also brought over a pot "Spaghetti, I hope you like it"
I grabbed the fork-like-thing and served myself a decent amount. My aunt did the same.
Lunch was kinda awkward. We just sat there in silence and ate our spaghetti. When I was done, I excused myself and went up to my room.
"Hmm, I wonder why my mom has never brought me over to my aunts house before" I say to myself as I close my bedroom door behind me.
I grab the satck if clothes I left on the bed earlier and went into my closet. I found an empty drawer and opened it.
Ohmygawd.
You wouldn't believe what I had found.
