Ch 3: New friends...and emenies

Skya POV:

When me a Katara was far enough from Aang I looked at her. "By who, how would attack people so peaceful?" I asked on the verge of tears. "The fire nation. They have been trying to rule over everyone and everything. They even killed my mother when they did a raid on my village." She said starting to cry as well. "I am so sorry."

We walked back over to Aang how is now talking with Sokka. "Hey we were thinkin' that we could take you to our village so we can get warm and Fill My TUMMY, WOO-WO!" We all started to laugh. "Sound good." I said getting on Appa's head. Aang jumped on his back. "Come on hop on." I said to Katara and Sokka. They looked at each other "I don't know about that." Sokka said worried. "I think it's cool." Katara let out while getting up on Appa. Sokka was like 'really, really'. Then he crawled up on his back as well then slid down on his head with me and smiled. "Hey, fine if I sit here." "Sure. Yip yip." And we were off.

We landed in a little area with these little igloo's all around. A lot of people came out and looked at us and all the old folks looked at me and Aang like we just gave them hope for some reason. We all hoped off and walked over to some old woman how was holding her arms out. Katara ran into the woman's arms and smiled "This is my Gran-gran." I walked over and shook her hand "Hello ma'am. It was nice to meet you." "It's wonderful to meet you to sweetheart. Won't you come in so we can talk in private?" She said looking around at all the people looking at me and Aang. "Sure thing ma'am."

We followed her into some igloo house. "OK sweetheart, so tell me what happened." She said pouring some tea "Well it's a long story." Aang said putting his head down. "I'll tell it Aang. It started when we found out that Aang was the Avatar...but you already knew that..." I told her the whole story.

"Well Skya, that is quite a story." She said while looking like she was thinking hard. By now there was a pretty good number of people around me and Aang from the story. "So you are like your brother?" She looked at me and everyone looked at her like she was crazy. "Yes, how did you know?" I asked confused at how she could have known that without me telling her. "I can see it in you. I can see the ability's that can be formed in you and how great they can become." She said to me smiling. Everyone looked at me like I was unbelievable.

"Well I guess we should get going home now." I said thinking that we need to see for our self if our temple was really destroyed. "That's the thing. You have no home." Sokka said fast. Aang started to cry. "It's fine Aang. Thanks Sokka, real help." I said snappy. "Sorry but I am telling the truth." He said slightly snappy back but mostly sorrow. "It's fine but next time just don't be so..." I was interrupted by a ships horn. We walked out and I saw a guy start to walk up to the chief of this tribe.

He was cute, he had good hair...bet if he took it out of his tie it would be long...he had a burn on the side of his face, looks like it hurts or hurt when he got it. I could see past his burn though. He looked like a beautiful man but with an awful expression:



Then it hit me, he was in the fire nation. I put Aang behind me and stood there ready to fight. He started to attack the tribe so I jumped and blocked the fire with a wall of water then it fell. He looked at me then shot a big fire ball at me and I took it and held it for a sec then shot it in to the sky "You leave this place alone!" "You are the Avatar!" He said come at me. "Yeah, no. I'm not." I said no moving. Aang came in and pushed him back and he landed on his head with his hat on his ass. "Don't touch my sister. If we go with you will you leave this village alone?" The man shook his head yes. "No guys don't." Katara said "It's fine." Aang said while the guards was taking him away. "Hey take care of Appa while I am gone." I said following Aang.
