Chapter 33: Attack

Niall's P.O.V.
Zayn explained it all on our way there. We landed in the airport in an hour and we were at Scott's house in another half. We didn't bother with the doorbell or the door in general. Liam kicked it down. I walked down and he had his arms around her and they were kissing like they were in love and that's all that mattered.
"What is going on?" I asked. They both looked up. Scott didn't seem surprised but Taylor did. She jumped off the couch and walked over to me and gave all of us a hug. "Oh my gosh! Scott, you got One Direction to come here as an engagement present! I love it and you!" I didn't understand what was happening but something was wrong. I didn't know what came over me but I jumped from my position to on top of Scott who was half way across the room. Taylor started screaming but Harry and Liam went and pulled her away. I beat Scott to a pulp and got off when I realized what I was doing. He muttered something like 'told you that you would be to late'  and Zayn was on top of him next. I pulled Zayn off and tried to talk to him over Taylor's screams. Somewhere in that Scott got up and knocked Harry and Liam out. He was now beating Taylor. She was knocked out. He threw a dresser with a mirror on it over her. It all shattered, there was a puddle of blood leaking from the bottom. He was shouting things like 'She's a slut and she doesn't love anyone but she might like hell.' or 'f*ck her cause no one else can'. I stood there as he beat her. The police got here and took him away just as the ambulance got here for her. Louis talked to the police about the whole thing. We got the dresser off her and she wasn't a pretty sight. Her right eye was black and swollen shut, there was glass all over but mainly in her left leg and wrist, she had blood coming out of her head, she was having a hard time breathing, and her right leg looked broken. Very carefully she was lifted into the ambulance. Without thinking I climbed in too leaving a revived Harry and Liam with Louis and Zayn. They would meet me at the hospital.
