Chapter 2: the winner

After a couple more songs Louis said "You are such an amazing crowd, but for the first half of the concert there was someone in the first row who was bouncing and singing along to our songs but now she's sobbing like the world will end tomorrow."
Liam said "I noticed that. It makes me sad to see one of our fans not smiling."
Harry looked my way and mouthed "what's wrong." He held my gaze and I made my hands into a heart shape on my heart and made a splitting motion. He understood and sadness filled his eyes. They made a huddle and nodded in agreement. They started singing again and I tried to smile and enjoy myself but that's really hard to do when you feel like laying down and let the rest of the world smash you. They had just finished playing Rock Me when Niall said, "We are having a contest. The winner gets to come on stage, get a hug from me and the lads, and hang out back stage for the rest of the show. You all are entered by your seat number, and we will announce the winner after this song."
They launched into She's Not Afraid and the crowd got so much louder, everyone but me. The song ended and Zayn called out the winning number. the crowd was silent. Who is the lucky girl who got to hug them? Who is the girl that everyone will be jealous of? A guy in black grabbed my wrist and pulled me under the velvet rope to the stairs up the stage.
Louis said "Give our lucky the winner a round of applause." then to me he said "What's your name?"
"Taylor" I answered
"Well congratulations Taylor" Niall said.
Louis embraced me and everyone else followed suit. I went to the backstage, but Zayn pulled me back.
He said "You can't miss the rest of the show. You can watch from here." and as he said that a chair was placed in the back corner of the stage. I actually smiled for the rest of the show. When it was time to leave Liam pulled me over to a hole in the stage.
He said that I should jump. He went first and I did too. The crowd faded and I landed on an air mattress. With a smile on his face he pulled me to what looked like a couple of couches. He sat down opposite of me. We were joined by Harry, Zayn and Louis. Harry walked over to me and asked if I felt any better. I nodded but knew that more tears would soon come. :,(
