What're You Hoping For? || A Zachary Sayle/Toursies Story

There aren't many (or any) Newsies stories on here, so I took the liberty of adding one that I've been working on for a while. It's a ship between my character, Faith Flaherty, and Zachary Sayle, who played Crutchie in the first North American tour of Newsies.

As people began to leave, no one knew where Ben and Faith were. I looked to the side of the room and saw Josh leaning against the wall, alone. I walked over to him, feeling suspicious.
“What’re you still doing here?” I asked. He looked at me.
“Waiting for Ben,” he replied, vaguely. I nodded as he looked back down at his phone.
“And where is he?” I asked. “Or my sister, for that matter.” He looked up from his phone, but didn’t quite look at me.
“I-I don’t know,” he said, his voice shaking slightly.
“Uh huh,” I said. I grabbed his left shoulder and his right arm and started to walk to my dressing room. “Let’s go, Joshy Boy. We’re gonna have a little chat.” Once the door was closed, I sat him down in Ben’s chair and stood in front of him, arms crossed. “So, this is how this is gonna go.” He nodded. “I’m gonna tell you what I know, then I’m gonna ask you some questions, and you’re gonna answer them.” He nodded again. “Now, I told Faith that she needed to fix things with Ben-”
        “Yeah, she asked me whe-”
“Shut up, I didn’t finish.” He nodded, scared. “She walked out of the room to find him. That was about,” I looked at my wrist, “fifteen minutes ago, and no one has seen her or Ben since. So, here is my question.” He nodded. “Where is she?” He gulped. “Don’t forget, I know where all your bacon is.” His eyes were wide.
“I promised her I wouldn’t tell anyone!” he exclaimed.
“You forget, I’m older than her,” I said. “My say outranks hers.” He sighed but nodded.
“They’reatthetowerspleasedon’thurtmybacon!” he spat out. I smirked.
“Alright, Joshy Boy,” I said. “Your bacon is safe . . . . for now.” I went to walk out, but he grabbed my arm.
“Please don’t tell her I told you where they were,” he said, using his puppy dog eyes. I sighed.
“Alright, Josh. I won’t tell her.”

“Andi Faith Flaherty!” I shot up and hit my head on the metal railing of the tower.
“Ow!” I rubbed my head and looked over the edge of the platform. Sky. “What?”
“You do realize you’ve been up there for about half an hour, right?” My eyes were wide. I looked back at Ben accusingly. He shrugged his shoulders.
“No, we did not realize that,” I said. I looked back at Sky. “How did you know we were up here?” He smiled mischievously.
“Josh told me!” I leaned my head onto the railing.
        “JOSHUA BURRAGE!!!!”
“SKYLER FLAHERTY!! YOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T TELL HER!!!!!” Josh yelled from backstage. I laughed and started running down the stairs to attack him. I ran backstage and saw him leaning against the wall. He looked up as I walked in, and his eyes were wide. I smirked. He pushed himself off the wall, quickly, and ran in the opposite direction, towards the dressing rooms. I followed after him until he ran into his dressing room and the door closed. I hit the door with the palm of my hand.
        “BURRAGE!!”
        “FLAHERTY!!” he yelled back.
        “COOK!!” I heard Sky yell.
        “FLAHERTY NUMBER TWO!!”
“WHY AM I NUMBER TWO?!?! I CAME FIRST!!!!” I sighed at our immaturity, then perked up at an idea.
“RACETRACK AND ALBERT!!!!” I yelled. “IN HERE NOW!!!!!” They came running up behind me and I motioned to the door. They smiled and nodded before placing their hands on the door. One, two, three I mouthed. We pushed the door open and found Josh sprawled out on the floor. I tilted my head to look at him.
“Should I ask why?” I asked. He shook his head.
“RINGWRAITH!!!!” we heard. I perked up.
“CRIP!!!” I exclaimed before running to the back door, where Zach was waiting.
“Ringwraith?” Josh asked. Ben nodded. I sighed.
“Honestly, don’t you two read?” me and Sky asked at the same time. Me, Zach, and Sky laughed, but Josh and Ben were just confused. “The Nazgûl, also called Ringwraiths, Black Riders, or the Nine, are fictional characters in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, Lord of the Rings.” Sky turned to me.
“Did you memorize that?” he asked. I nodded.
“Don’t question me,” I said. “You would think you would’ve learned after sixteen years.” I turned back to Zach. “What?”
“Oh yeah!” he exclaimed. “Um, Dan had the idea for everyone to go out to eat somewhere tonight, since it’s your first night, and they told Josh to tell you, so when you guys didn’t show up, they sent me back to get you.” I looked at Josh. He smiled meekly, and waved. I turned to Sky.
“What do you say?” I asked him. “Can I go, or do I have to be back by curfew?”
“No,” Sky started. “I think you lost your curfew when you moved up the theater food chain.”

I would use that--in fact I have unfinished stories on there under CrutchieMorris--but I can only access it on my kindle, on which the internet no longer works.
