What're You Hoping For? || A Zachary Sayle/Toursies Story

There aren't many (or any) Newsies stories on here, so I took the liberty of adding one that I've been working on for a while. It's a ship between my character, Faith Flaherty, and Zachary Sayle, who played Crutchie in the first North American tour of Newsies.

.:12:. 3rd Person P.O.V.
Not five minutes after Stephanie and Faith walked into American Eagle, Zach, Ben, Sky, and Josh walked in the same one. Can’t see that one blowin’ up in their faces! (points for whoever gets that reference)

Faith’s P.O.V.
When me and Steph walked into American Eagle, we went straight for the shirts.
“So, which one was it?” Steph asked. I shrugged.
“I mean, I left it at home, but it wasn’t very comfortable, so I kinda just wanna replace it,” I replied. I grabbed a black shirt with a white thunderbird (chapter image). “This one’s nice.” She nodded. “I think I’ll get this one.” We went to look around the rest of the store, but I ran into someone going around a rack of shirts.
“Faith?” I heard. I looked up at the person I’d run into: Zachary Sayle.
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me,” I said. Three more people came around the rack.
“O-oh!” I heard my brother say. “H-hey, Faith! F-funny meeting you here!” I scowled at him.
“Is there a reason we somehow ended up in the exact same store in the exact same mall?” I asked.
“So, uh, you know how we said we were gonna have our own boys’ day?” he asked. I nodded. “Well, we did. We went to Starbucks, Ben went back to the hotel and got Josh, and Ben wanted to go to American Eagle, so we did!” I sighed.
        “Why American Eagle?” Steph asked.
“Okay, Faith I could understand,” Ben said, “but you should definitely know by now that American Eagle is essentially my closet. I would buy out the entire store if I could.” I shrugged.

Sky‘s P.O.V.
When we finally got back home--we had ended up just joining the boys’ and the girls’ days into one and essentially had to drag Ben out of American Eagle--it was almost two, so Faith went to take a shower before rehearsal, Ben and Josh went back to their rooms to do the same, and Stephanie went to get lunch since we had neglected to earlier, leaving me and Zach alone in the room, sitting on our phones.
“So . . .,” I said after about ten minutes of silence.
“I know what you’re thinking,” he started, without looking up from his phone, “and no, I haven’t told her yet.” I groaned.
“I mean, how long is it gonna take?” I asked, impatiently. His head snapped over to me.
“Well, have you ever tried to confess that you like someone not two days after meeting her?” he exclaimed. I threw my hands up in surrender. “Why do you care, anyway?” I scoffed.
“It’s my sister. Why would I not care?” He shrugged and sighed.
“I just wish I knew how to tell her,” he said, sounding defeated. “I wish I was as good at talking as everyone says I am at singing.” I perked up at that.
        “Zach, that’s it!” He jumped.
“What’s it?” I laughed, jumping off the bed.
“Sing!” I exclaimed. “Find a song that says exactly what you wanna say, and sing it to her!” He thought for a second.
“I mean, I guess it could potentially work.” I nodded excitedly.
“Oh, Zachy Boy, I am setting you up with my sister, and if she ever finds out, she will bury me alive with all of Josh’s bacon and leave me for him to find and tear apart.”

I would use that--in fact I have unfinished stories on there under CrutchieMorris--but I can only access it on my kindle, on which the internet no longer works.
