The tunnel

Me and Kyle were in the forest for about an hour, hearing strange noises and the feeling that someone was watching them, but Kyle didn't care. He seemed to only care about himself, saying that he went down, and would lie that he looked in the tunnel and everyone one would think I was the idiot, baby, or whatever. After a while Kyle's hand kept on getting closer to mine and I would pull it away before he could touch it, he didn't seem scared though, he just walked deeper without caring. I was getting to the point where I would start looking behind me every five seconds but I thought if I turned around someone, or something would be there.
"umm... hey.. Skylar.."
"Ye- yeah."
His face got red out of nowhere and then shook his head. "I umm... do you mind if, um, wait.. no, I mean...." Then  he whispered can i hold your hand. I looked away he grabbed my hand when he heard something.
"Your scared aren't you?" I said
"NO!! Not as bad as you."
I looked away again and we kept on walking.
As we kept walking it got darker out side and we were having trouble seeing where we were going. Also Kyle grip was starting to get tighter.
