The Article

"Allidia! You're back!" he greeted her. "Yeah." she replied looking around at the newspapers. "I can't keep covering for you" he said quietly. "I know, just a little longer, do you have an article about the dragon?" she asked still looking around. "Oh, that, you really are interesting" he said as he pulled out a newpaper titled "New Species?". "Great! How much will it cost?" she asked looking around for her pocket wallet. "You can just have it" he said and handed her the newspaper. "Are you sure?" she asked. "Yeah, go ahead" he said. She grabbed the newspaper and said "Thanks! See ya later!" She ran off quickly, clutching the newspaper tightly, being sure not to lose it. Once again she was at the abandoned street, near the vacant house. She walked in, still holding the newspaper. Allidia walked over to the rocking chair and sat down. She looked at the front page. In large bold letters was the title, "New Species?". Under that was the heading "Decription". The article said "A new species has left the Forbidden Forest, present location- unknown. The species has been spotted by a few villagers. One says it had fierce golden eyes, razor sharp. Another says the dragon was as black as midnight, with long graceful wings," that paragraph ended. The next heading said "Powers". The article said "The dragon is believed to have special abilities. One abilty believed to have, is speed. We believe that the dragon, titled Abyss, can travel up to 900 mph. Abyss is also believed to be able to control ice. There are many more unknown powers to this dragon." it finished. There were many more articles about "Abyss", fascinated Allidia read on and on, until she looked at the clock. "Shit" she whispered. Her father was about to arrive. She moved the picture, went through the door, and put the picture back carefully. Quickly, Allidia walked over to her bed and hid the articles under her pillow. Moments later her father walked in the door of the living room. Startled by the sound of the door slamming closed, she jumped. She waked into the living room to greet her father. "Hello" she greeted him, trying to keep the nervousness out of her voice.
