Introduction
Aliddia unable to leave the burrow, (although she snuck out often through the back door, which no one knew about every once in a while) because of her oveprotective father, has always been curious. Aliddia has always dreamed of being able to leave the burrow and see a dragon, which she has often been fascinated in. All of the villagers think nothing of the dragons, and think their useless. Aliddia, thinks otherwise... PRESENT DAY... Aliddia sat up, ready to take on the day ahead of her, not that she'd needed to be. She walked to the end of the burrow, in the livng room, and looked outside. The lands were covered in green mountains, which were covered in forests. On the other side of the village, was the Forbidden Forest, which of course, she was never to go near. In the Forbidden Forest was believed to live beasts, dragons, elves, ogres, werewolves, vampires, etc., and this was the one reason she was inable to leave the burrow or house. Anyways, Allidia walked back towards her room, in the back of the den. Moments later, her father walked in. "Rise and Shine!" he said ethusiastically. "Hello" she said tiresome. "I thought about it, and I think you're ready to have this." In his hands held a short knife or sword. She picked it up. "It was your grandfather's" he said. "Thanks", she said, "but when will I ever be able to use this, go outside the den?" she asked. "Like I said before, its dangerous, not anytime soon" he said regretfully. "I know, I know, I'm too young" she said annoyed. He walked out. She stared at the sword, once her grandfathers. After a while, she walked back into the living room. The door swung open. It was a teen with tufty blonde hair, wearing a gray tee and jeans. "Hello, Aliddia" he greeted her. "Hi, Charlie" she said elegantly. "Have you seen your father? I have important news." he said in a worried voice. "What is it?" she said curiously. "Oh, well, if you're interested" he continued, "A dragon has been spotted, it has left the Forribidden Forest, it is thought to be the most powerful of dragons." he finished. The door opened once again. It was her father. Charlie told him the news and they rushed out the door in an instant. 'A dragon? Left the Forbidden Forest? Really Powerful?' she thought. The rest of the day went by very slowly. Dinner was silent. Eventually she went to bed, still thinking about the dragon.
