The Silent Treatment
The THE Girls dropped the pudding cup on the ground and walked away laughing. Kacycee, Lauran, and I ran over to Sandra, who was sobbing, "What did I do this time? Maybe I should just keep my mouth shut if they keep doing this!" she wailed as we walked to the restroom ( which I had no idea where we were going ). When we got there, I asked, "What did you mean when you said, 'What did I do this time?' Have they done this to you before?" She didn't answer. She got the pudding out of her hair and walked away without a word. I was stuck finding my next class by myself. Mrs. Caree R- 21, it was two rooms away from math which made things easier for a newbie. As usual, class was boring for me. A class after that was lunch. I looked all around for Sandra, but I couldn't find her, " Well if it isn't Sandra's "eww" friend," ,it was the THE Girls, "If you're looking for her, she's in the restroom with her loser pudding head friends!" I knew what they meant by that. They dumped pudding on their heads again. Without another word, I raced to the restroom. They were all there, washing pudding off their heads, "Are you guys okay?" I asked, but all I got was the silent treatment. They were in my last class with me. They still didn't talk to me though. As I walked home, alone, I said to myself, "First day failure." I never told my mom about what had happened that day. I got the silent treatment for a week though. First week failure.
