Rockwall 2015 12/26/15 Tornadoes (Special Story in Chap 2)

The Tornado

I thought I heard polices or ambulances outside...but I was wrong! I was watching ItsFunneh on YouTube then my dad came charging  down the stairs with Owen, Daisy, Sparkles, Colin, and mom behind him. Dad yelled " Avery, get into the closet now!" He yelled. I grabbed my iPad and the charger (of course) as I ran straight into the closet with mom, sparkles, Colin, and Owen. " Daisy Come on girl!" My mom cried as dad lead Daisy into the closet. Colin Asked, "Mommy, Avery? What's going on?" My little
brother cried. Me, my mom, and my little brother put our helmets on as the sirens blared in my ears as if someone blew a blow horn. The sound of the sirens ring in my head giving me a moutian of a headache. I could not BELIVE it this was a life killer.

Soon we left the closet being told we may have to go in a hour. We prayed for our friends, neighbors, and our father upstairs, I left the closet in a rush and plugged my IPad in at 23%. My dog Owen was snuggled up next to me and my cat was frightened so Pet her. My little brother Colin went upstairs and my parents scolded Colin telling him to stay downstairs, soon enough my dad came down stairs and put Shawn the sheep the movie on for my brother. My dad was trembling in fear I could tell, " I just saw a tornado go from across the lake to the other side, we nearly got hit that's why I'm shaking." "Please stay down here I don't want to loose you guys.." My dad told us worryingly. I continued writing this story on Qfeast as my heart pumped as if it were a volcano ready to explode. Across the lake there were fires, fire trucks, houses that are completely gone, and abulences carrying hurt citizens. I NEVER thought about tornadoes after CHRISTMAS and In the WINTER! May god be with our souls and be safe... I heard my mom tell my dad that there was another tornado warning. "Another one?" My dad asked my mom...mom pulled me into the closet as sirens blared. I looked around I saw sparkles, Daisy, Colin, and mom but where was Owen???!!
"Stay in here Avery" "But that's my dog!" I cried as I wanted to see Owen again. Dad threw Owen in then Owen swiftly went under the soft, soothing blanket. Mom said " the tornado is at Mary's home..." I was upset at the sad news then the news came in that we had twin tornadoes! I cried hugging my dog Owen. Owen whimpers, Daisy chew her bone as she wags her tail with spirits high, sparkles hid behind clothes on top of a shoe, Colin cried, mom was telling of what was happening, dad watched the weather upstairs, and for me..well I continued writing this story on my iPad... Sparkles stared at the door waiting for my dad to come in, I felt her pain we all loved dad...well except for Colin that is! I cried on Daisy for daddy then mom said " Take your helmets off, daddy just sent his video to the news channel and they are using it!" I smiled with happiness knowing it was all over. And iPad with 20% that's all that madders JK what truly matters is that our home is safe and so is our family..AND OUR TORNADO VIDEO IS ON THE NEWS :D
