I promised you I would love you forever
But forever wasn't long enough.
I promised I would be there for you
But I wasn't tough.

I made you a promise
to never leave you
I made you a promise
That forever I would be with you.

Promises I made
Yes, I had broken them.
But I had to follow my heart
Because now, I'm not in love with you, I'm in love with him.

Please try to understand
I didn't want it to end this way
What's done is done
Just another sorrow day.


(*Author's Note: Ok this poem ain't my best, but I thought of this idea when I watching that new movie, "Temptation". It's a very good movie, I enjoyed it and can't wait for it to come out on DVD lol. There was a twist to it that I wasn't really expecting, but still a very good movie. =)
