Riding with no Bounds
Little moors was a quite place among the hills. The weather was sunny all Summer and snow joined them in winter. The place had few shops for food, clothes, a school, an orphanage and one hairdresser. The houses were country so very cold - but in winter the cosy fires were much better than the central heating. The people were delightful and helpful. The school was primary and high and it provided a suitable education. In the distance were thousands of snow topped mountains which hikers could never reach. They mysterious and always the curiosity of the villagers. Jennifer Blue was a local girl. She was kind and loving but was orphan. No one knew her parents or had heard of them. So when Jennifer Blue had arrived at the doorstep of the orphanage with only a letter and a box which she could not open, they had let her in. The letter had said"Dear orphanage of Little Moors
I am unfortunately departing my daughter here as it is not safe to let stay with us. Tell her to keep the box with always no matter what. We love her dearly but times are hard and we all have to make sacrifices, even our most dearest.
Look after her well as we wished we could have.
Mr and Mrs Blue,"
